- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Today 05.09.2017 Serenity Dentists (formally MacFarlane) charged me twice for NHS repair treatment carried out with the 12 month Guarantee. I have since reported them to NHS customer service who have opened a case. If they don't refund me they can be struck off the provider list apparently. It is appalling a dentist surgery are not aware of their NHS obligation and double charge like this. Who else out there has been caught out??? I would like to add on 13.09.2017 that the response below is a complete and blatant lie. The surgery insisted on charging me at the morning visit, receptionist argued that you only get 1 repair within 12 months even after checking with someone else! We contacted them first at lunchtime to express we were taking further action. After 2 hours we had to ring a second time to told someone would ring back, they didn't. After our third call to them at about 3 o'clock they finally relented and offered a refund which I collected after work that afternoon. So there you have it, an overcharge, an argument, no apology but finally a refund. Hope this never happens to anyone else. How appalling they are still prepared to lie when I have a call log and recording service at home! 26.09.2017 Hello again Serenity! 1. Explain how you charged me correctly? 2. Don't worry about a keyboard exchange, I am more then happy to tell you to your face you tried to rip me off! 3. When I am overcharged by anyone unnecessarily and it requires me to return to you leaving work early at a cost to me; yes that does require an apology. 4. I wasn't offered tea at any point! Perhaps if I was and you adequately explained yourselves with the facts this matter could have been dissolved quickly. 5. No amount of your smarmy replies will detract from the fact that you handled this matter inappropriately and continue to seek approval for your actions and lies.
